Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year at St. Louis Park Middle School.
As I begin my year as Interim Principal, I want to highlight the devotion that our staff has to your child's education, helping them to reach and display their full brilliance, and encouraging them to discover both their identity as an individual, and as a member of the SLPMS student community. Our commitment to ensuring student voice and providing a safe place for all students to experience racially equitable learning is pivotal in creating lifelong learners.
The bulk of my nineteen year career as an educator has been spent at SLPMS. My family and I proudly call St Louis Park “home” and all three of my kids are SLP students. As both a parent and educator, I believe that student learning is the product of strong relationships and meaningful classroom engagement. Please know that we are here as your child navigates, grows, and develops in these critical teenage and middle school years, and being able to partner with your family is essential/pivotal.
We are excited to invite you into our newly renovated classrooms which include state of the art learning technology as well as collaborative learning spaces.
Continue to let us know if we can do anything further to assist your student in reaching their full potential and brilliance.
