Interdisciplinary learning offers real-life context along with other numerous benefits, including fostering critical thinking, promoting collaboration, enhancing creativity and providing a broader understanding of complex issues.

These past weeks 8th graders worked on an interdisciplinary unit in their Science and Individuals & Societies classes, called "Here Comes the Sun" where they engaged in understanding a global health issue that needed solving in order to "make the world a better place". This unit involved a REM5 on-campus field trip where they were engaged in a case study that was a communications challenge where they were inquiring on the question "What do YOU think the solution is?"

Every Student. Every Story. Give to St. Louis Park Public Schools today!

Behind every dollar is a story: a student who found confidence on stage, a team that learned resilience, a classroom that found joy in curiosity. This campaign is about keeping those stories going.

A $25 donation might cover art supplies for a classroom project. $100 could help fund student wellness kits. $250 might support a student internship placement. Each act of giving ripples outward — inspiring others, fueling programs, and opening doors for learners across our district. No matter how you give, you’re helping every student thrive beyond the classroom.

Together, we can reach our $100,000 goal and continue to ensure that every St. Louis Park student has access to the opportunities, resources, and relationships that help them become their best selves.
