- Attendance, Tardies, & Truancy
Students who have been absent for legitimate reasons will be allowed a reasonable amount of time to make up work missed while they were absent. Upon returning to school it is the STUDENT’s responsibility to get missed assignments.
Students who have been dismissed from school as Out-of-School Suspension (OSS) will be allowed to make up the work from the class(es) missed and receive credit for the work.
- Student Conduct & Expectations
All work submitted for credit in any class at St. Louis Park Middle School is expected to be the original work of the student submitting it. If said work is not the original effort of the student, then the student may be guilty of cheating or plagiarism.
- Activities & Athletics
Due to limited space/capacity in our field houses, spectators will be limited to staff, parents/guardians and family members of players playing in the current game. Students will not be allowed to attend games due to the limited space available.

Students are responsible for dressing in ways that are appropriate for school. Students should avoid attire that is disruptive, a health/safety hazard, obscene, sexually explicit, discriminatory or associated with threat/hate groups including gangs. Clothing which displays references to alcohol, chemicals, tobacco or other products which are illegal for use by minors is not permitted. All students must wear shoes.

Attendance is one of the first indicators of academic success. SLPHS students are expected to be in class every hour, on time, every school day.
